The Copernicus Training and Information Session to be held on 27 March 2018 at the Aliathon Holiday Village in Paphos, Cyprus, is part of a series of national Copernicus events. The European Commission is organising the Sessions at the request of, and in collaboration with Member States. The event aims to promote awareness of the many uses of Copernicus data and information, while providing the opportunity for hands on demonstrations and basic training regarding:
The Copernicus Training and Information Session targets both Copernicus “intermediate” end users (technical) and end user communities (non-technical). For more information, please refer to the Agenda. These events are free of charge and open to anyone but registration is needed. Registration is now closed.

Travel InformationWorkshop venue The Copernicus Training and Information session will take place at the Aliathon Holiday Village in Paphos. Transport There are two international airports in Cyprus: Paphos International Airport (located 15 minutes from the venue), and Larnaca International Airport (located approx. 140 km from the venue). Bus transfer service is available just outside of the two airports (service operated by private companies). This service is offered on a 24/24 basis. Taxis and car rental services are also available at both airports (Please note that in Cyprus, driving is on the left, as it is in the UK).
